Who is behind AppBank?
Our team is comprised of a group of professional technologists, marketers and investors who understand the social networking ecosystem quite well. We are based out of Seattle and the San Francisco Bay Area.


Which social networks does AppBank support?
We currently support Facebook and will look to branch out to other social networks after we feel we've provided a streamlined, robust enough of a platform for our beta constituents - you. In other words we want to make sure we provide the best possible product and support experience for you on Facebook before moving on to other mediums.


How and when do I get paid?
Appbank's payment cycle is every two weeks, on the 1st and the 15th of every month. Once the cycle is closed, we issue payment for anyone that has completed their W9 and meets the minimum payout threshold (only $5 for Paypal) within seven business days. We pay exclusively via Paypal to both U.S. and Non-U.S. app creators, whether they be individuals or companies. If based in the U.S. we must follow Internal Revenue Service tax requirements and require each U.S. based app creator fill out an IRS W9 form available at http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw9.pdf and fax it to us at (206) 452-5218. At the end of each fiscal year, we will send U.S. based app creators a 1099 statement for tax reporting purposes.


What if I'm under 16?
If you live in the US and you're under the age of 16, one of your parents needs to follow the steps above and fill out a W-9 and PayPal account in their name (in order to receive payment). We assure parents that Appbank is a safe, user-friendly environment for all ages and that by signing up your child, you're opening the door to the opportunity for him/her to earn money all while having fun online!


How does AppBank make money to support all this?
AppBank runs ads alongside apps that users create. We make money by using specialized algorithms and proprietary ad technology to ensure users of your apps see the most relevant, least intrusive ads that ultimately make you the most money possible. If only TV commercials were the same. We take pride in our patent-pending platform and business model.


What are Facebook ads versus AppBank Ads?
Facebook ads are ads that run on the right hand side of most Facebook pages. These ads are out of our control and make money for Facebook. AppBank ads are ads that run everywhere else on an app, known as the "application canvas" area. Here's the simple rule of thumb: You only make money from our ads, not Facebook ads.


What is your position on trademarks and use of copyrighted material?
We ask that users abide by our Terms of Service and refrain from using copyrighted pictures, logos and servicemarks that infringe on other companies' rights. We perform periodic audits of material that may be considered infringing, and will do our best to contact you and work with you to replace this material with non-infringing material.
